Professor Patit Paban Mishra, an Indian national was educated in Delhi University, Jawaharlal Nehru University and Rabindra Bharati University. Professor Mishra’s main area of research lies in history and culture of India and Southeast Asia. After retirement from Sambalpur University, Orissa, India; as a Professor in 2011, he took up assignment as visiting Professor at Northern University of Malaysia(UUM). He was a senior academic fellow in ICHR, New Delhi and also senior academic consultant, Odisha State Open University, Sambalpur, India.
